Is It Time Yet?

Is It Time Yet?

Are we there yet? I feel like a kid again on a trip that is taking way too long. I don’t know about you, but all of us at Kanberra are ready for warmer weather, cooler drinks, and making memories out on the water. And with spring just around the corner, now is the time to start preparing to get your boat out of storage and put all the final touches for its maiden warm weather voyage of 2021.

Timing is everything; we all know it’s essential to make sure the timing of de-winterizing is perfect and every year is slightly different. If you are 100% sure there won’t be a late spring freeze in your area, the time is right!

Depending on how severe the winter weather was in your part of the world, the amount of time the boat was in storage, and how meticulously you winterized your boat can affect how ready your boat will be for opening day! Let’s discuss what can happen to your boat during winterization, the steps to de-winterize, and the best ways to keep your boat fresh all season with Kanberra.

Removing strong odors can easily be taken care of by shocking the boat with a jar of Kanberra Gel. See usage guidelines for size recommendations.  Air is cleaner and healthier as the gel neutralizes odors and impurities.
